Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Java developer to strengthen our API Management team. Candidates are expected to provide strong technical skills in requirements analysis, software development and solution design. Candidates require work experience with Java and API development, and preferably with the Avaloq Banking Suite (Avaloq Core Platform / Avaloq Front Platform). The main focus will be on supporting our Change Portfolio with the design and development of backend services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own quality strategy and practice of the development team to ensure the right level of product quality
  • Ensure an appropriate level of testing activities both automated and manual are performed
  • Define and implement necessary test automation for smoke, functional, integration and regression testing
  • Monitor and ensure each change achieves its business KPI on production
  • Drive the velocity of reliable product development together with the development team
  • Direct and supervise the work of junior QA engineers
  • Liaise with project managers, development leads and developers to ensure the proper level of communication in the team with regard to quality assurance process and success
